Little Leaguers Get a Feel for RFK Stadium
Youth baseball players from D.C. Little League programs recently joined students from six downtown elementary schools for a tour of RFK Stadium’s renovated facilities. Hosted by Turner Construction Company and HNTB, the construction firm and architect who spearheaded the redesign of the temporary home for the Washington Nationals, the event joined with Mayor Williams to honor the work of D.C.-based Fields of Dreams, which develops the athletic, educational and life skills of young people in disadvantaged areas.
