Ten District residents, age 60 and older, will compete June 26 at the University of D.C. for the title of Ms. Senior D.C. 2016 and the opportunity to represent the nation’s capital in the Ms. Senior America pageant.

Contestants, who will be interviewed by panel of judges, will be rated on their philosophy of life, talent and evening gown presentations.

The judges are members of the community who have been chosen to act as an impartial body in selecting the most elegant, talented and community service-oriented woman to represent her peers throughout the year.

The Ms. Senior DC Pageant is presented by the D.C. Office on Aging, the D.C. Seniors Cameo Club and the Office on Aging Senior Service Network.
