I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the site of the first Africans in Virginia and taking a tour of the area and it was nice to see you guys cover it. I am grateful for all of the attention and all of the work being done to commemorate not the first Africans in this part of the world, but the first enslaved. We must remember our history and wear it proudly. We have nothing to be ashamed about!
