Maryland reported 11 new coronavirus-related deaths Monday, along with 960 new cases, according to the state health department.

Additionally, the number of people hospitalized with the virus jumped by 42 to 796 — 192 of whom are in intensive care.

However, the state’s seven-day average daily positivity rate dipped slightly by .02% to 4.2%, well below the recommended mark of 5%.

Since the start of the pandemic, Maryland has recorded roughly 529,000 coronavirus cases and 10,166 virus-related deaths, according to the state health department.

So far, approximately 3.9 million Maryland residents have been fully vaccinated, according to department statistics.
