Therefore, it is recommended that patients with Type II diabetes should not skip breakfast at any time, since in doing important damages in the function of the beta cells could occur, as well as, possibly leading to blood sugar spikes and impairment in insulin function, even if diabetics don’t eat in excess at lunch or dinner.
Skipping breakfast is good for those that practice intermittent fasting or those individuals that want to lose a few pounds but not if they have diabetes, especially Type II.
