Not that we needed more reasons to hang out with family friends, but this year’s Summer Restaurant Week certainly makes the decision easier.
From Aug. 9-15, more than 200 restaurants in the D.C. region will offer good lunch, brunch and dinner prices as part of the event presented by Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW).
Summer Restaurant Week returns to a one-week promotion with a focus on onsite dining. Returning are options that diners have grown to appreciate over the years, including family-style to-go dinners and cocktail pairings.
Participating restaurants will offer multi-course brunch and lunch menus for $22 per person and multi-course dinner menus for $35 or $55 per person for onsite dining. Many restaurants will also offer to-go dinners, available at two price points: $60 or $100 for two people and $100 or $200 for four people.

“We’re excited to begin rebuilding and recovering as an industry,” said RAMW President and CEO Kathy E. Hollinger. “The program is tailored to provide a range of dining comfort levels, offering outstanding on-premises menus as well as to-go offerings.”
Silver Spring, Maryland, restaurant All Set Restaurant and Bar is ready to welcome diners for inside or outdoor seating. The establishment, co-owned by husband and wife Edward Reavis and Jennifer Meltzer, serves American cuisine from a menu where there are always new offerings.
“It’s been a long and challenging year for all of us in the restaurant industry, so we’re glad to have some normalcy back with Summer Restaurant Week,” Reavis said.
“We’ve added some exciting new items to our menu and know that regulars and those new to All Set will enjoy our New England-inspired menu,” added Meltzer.
Restaurant Week sponsors include Events DC, OpenTable, NBC4/Telemundo 44, Airbnb and Streetsense.
Diners can visit the Summer Restaurant Week website to view participating restaurant menus, make reservations and place orders. More restaurants are added to the website as they join the promotion.
