The SAG-AFTRA union is on strike, with actors and other businesses affected by the strike, due to negotiations between the entertainment industry’s representative, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), and SAG-AFTRA over wage increases, protection against the use of actor images through artificial intelligence, and improvements in health and retirement benefits.
