(Daily Digest News) – There’s nothing funny about it. Comedian Tracy Morgan is “still struggling” to recover from his injuries sustained in a car crash in June, as his lawyer Benedict Morelli revealed when he visited NBC’s The Today Show on Monday to talk about his client’s progress.
“He’s still struggling,” Morelli reported. “But he’s a fighter. He’s had issues before that he’s fought through, and he’s fighting hard.” As reported back in June by NBC Philadelphia, 45-year-old Morgan was traveling in a limo when his vehicle was struck on the New Jersey Turnpike by a tractor-trailer. Morgan’s friend and mentor, comedian James MacNair or “Jimmy Mack,” was killed in the crash, and several other passengers, including comedian Ardie Fuqua, Jr, were seriously injured.
