The second of two bald eagle eggs at the National Arboretum in northeast D.C. hatched Thursday morning, a day after the first one hatched.

The second egg hatched at 7:21 a.m. Thursday.

The first eaglet is named “DC4.” The second will be called “DC5.”

Earlier this month, another eaglet hatched at a police facility in Southwest.
