President Donald Trump, in the latest of his almost-daily rants on Twitter, on Tuesday referred to a group of Black Lives Matter protesters as โ€œthugs.โ€

Trump tweeted his sentiments after a video recently went viral showing protesters confronting patrons eating outdoors at a Pittsburgh restaurant.

โ€œBLM Protesters horribly harass elderly Pittsburgh diners, scaring them with loud taunts while taking their food right off their plate. These Anarchists, not protesters, are Biden voters, but he has no control and nothing to say. Disgraceful. Never seen anything like it. Thugs,โ€ Trump tweeted Tuesday morning.

Trump also claimed that โ€œbecause of weak and pathetic Democrat leadership, this thuggery is happening in other Democrat run cities and statesโ€ and that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris โ€œwonโ€™t even talk about it.โ€
