V&P LifeStyle Magazine will celebrate its one-year anniversary with a private ceremony in Maryland next month.

Sheehy Ford of Marlow Heights will host the March 5 event from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., during which the magazineโ€™s March/April edition will be released.

V&P founders Sharon Porter and Karen McConnell-Jones want their readers to know they believe that vision truly inspires purpose.

โ€œI know we will continue to move beyond the pages in order to stay relevant in the world of print,โ€ said McConnell-Jones, who is also CEO and president of Class Act Speakersโ€™ Bureau. โ€œWe are here to be a positive voice for our community.โ€

Porter added, โ€œAs an educator with over 25 years of experience and the owner of a book publishing firm, it is important that we produce an A-1 quality magazine at all times. Our readers can depend on us to be factual and informative with our writing and the stories that are being shared. This is a must for us.โ€
