I was glad to read that ANC Ward 8 Chairman Salim Adofo is protesting the number of liquor licenses in Ward 8. Nowhere else are these people allowed to open up liquor store after liquor store but in our communities and I’m sick of it! We cannot stand by and just allow this continued degradation of our communities as our people disintegrate into nothingness! When is the next protest?

Kudos to Clarke
I know the ancestors are truly proud and amazed at Kristen Clarke. I’ve followed her work for years and she is truly a force and a gem. She’s the first Black woman to head the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division and because of her leadership, she won’t be the last.
