ACE Cash Express Inc. recently donated $7,500 to the nonprofit MenzFit group to help low-income men in the D.C. and Philadelphia areas achieve long-term gainful employment and financial fitness.

Founded in 2001, with offices in DC and Philadelphia, MenzFit is an educational organization with a clientele comprised of veterans, terminated or laid-off workers, recent immigrants, recovering addicts, the disabled, homeless, ex-offenders and public assistance recipients.

โ€œFor nearly a decade, we have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with ACE Cash Express,โ€ said MenzFit President Rhonda Willingham. โ€œWe are very appreciative of the continued support that ACE has given our organization as we strive to help men to become financially fit.โ€

ACE is an Irving, Texas-based payday loan company with 12 locations in the District and more than 1,000 locations nationwide.

MenzFit has been a partner of ACE for almost 10 years as part of the companyโ€™s corporate-giving program, the ACE Community Fund.

โ€œACE continues to be a proud partner of MenzFit, in support of their mission to provide resources for those entering or re-entering the job market,โ€ said Eric Norrington, ACE public affairs vice president. โ€œMenzFitโ€™s focus on financial literacy aligns with ACEโ€™s mission to provide support for underserved communities, and together we have helped hundreds of people advance their lives and careers.โ€
