Kim Porter, who for more than a decade had an on-again, off-again relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs and was the mother of three of his children, died Thursday. She was 47.
Authorities were called to the onetime model and actress’ Los Angeles home on Thursday after a 911 call reported “a patient in cardiac arrest,” law enforcement sources told TMZ. A source also told the site that while Porter had been suffering from pneumonia for weeks, it was still unclear how she died.
“Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time,” a representative for Porter told news outlets.
Porter and Diddy began dating in the mid-1990s and their relationship ended for good in 2007. Their children together are son Christian and twins girls Jessie James and D’Lila.
Porter also had a son, Quincy, from her relationship with R&B crooner Al B. Sure.
