William Deffaa is a current intern at The Washington Informer and a recent graduate of the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism, where he specialized in data reporting and sports journalism. During his time at Maryland, he wrote and produced radio content for Mitzpeh, Maryland's Jewish student newspaper, and WMUC. He has always had a strong passion for sports and international affairs, aspiring to become a global sports or international political reporter.
