Is it free to participate?
Yes. Nominating and voting are completely free for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Sponsorship and advertising are optional for those seeking added visibility.
How do nominations and voting work?
Nominations run late August through mid September. The top nominees in each category move to the official ballot, and the public votes in October. Winners are honored in December.
What sponsorship tiers are available?
Tiers range from Community Partner to Title Sponsor, with benefits like event signage, newsletter placement, category ownership, and advertising discounts on BOTDMV placements. Full breakdown is in the 2026 Sponsorship Deck.
How much does sponsorship cost?
Tiers start at $500 for Community Partner and scale up to $15,000 for Signature Sponsor. A custom Title Sponsor package is also available by invitation.
