As former President Donald Trump, who is twice impeached and facing 91 felony criminal charges, rapidly approaches the Republican presidential nomination, the Biden-Harris campaign has intensified its criticisms and is preparing to spend a record amount of money on advertising and marketing.
In Wilmington, Delaware, at the 2024 Biden-Harris campaign headquarters, senior officials made clear they see and hear rhetoric aimed at African Americans, and particularly from some prominent Black men, who articulate little facts or substance to justify their perceived support for Trump.
“This is not a lesser of two evils,” a high-ranking campaign official demanded. “Joe Biden absolutely deserves to be reelected and I think that he’s earned the African American vote through his actions, deeds and accomplishments.”
A high-profile Democrat attacked well-known hip-hop artists Killer Mike, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe and Sexy Redd for misleading their enormous fan bases about Trump. Fat Joe denied supporting Trump, but publicly showcased the former president’s new $2,000 sneakers.
“That’s irresponsible,” the individual said of Joe, before slamming Snoop Dogg for supporting Trump because he pardoned his friend, Harry O.
“Harry O. sold poison to Black kids in Los Angeles and killed and destroyed the lives of so many Blacks in the community, yet Snoop Dogg is celebrating that and proclaiming his love of Trump for that?” the Democrat questioned.
Ice Cube has continued to make comments that leave most to believe he supports Trump, who was twice found responsible by a civil jury of sexually assaulting a journalist, and who was found guilty of massive business fraud in which he’s been ordered to pay nearly $500 million in penalties.
Meanwhile, Killer Mike remains a Trump supporter and Sexyy Red boosted her claim that Trump gave Americans stimulus checks during his presidency.
“All false claims,” the Democrat stated. “First of all, let’s talk about the ‘First Step Act,’ which people erroneously give Trump credit for. It was the Congressional Black Caucus and Congress who put that legislation together and passed it. Trump signed it, he didn’t create it, like the stimulus where Trump simply put his name on the checks.”
Biden campaign officials also outlined the president’s achievements and emphasized how terrible Trump remains for the Black community.
Black unemployment increased dramatically during Trump’s term, whereas it has reached an all-time low in just three years of Biden and Harris. During Trump’s term, tax fraud intensified, resulting in the average white household receiving tax cuts that were more than double those of Black families. Trump put forth a plan to restrict funding for public service loan forgiveness programs, cap Pell grants, and restrict support for HBCUs.
In contrast, Biden and Harris fulfilled campaign pledges by allocating an unprecedented $7 billion towards HBCUs, pardoning over $137 billion in student loan debt, and augmenting Pell grants. The initiatives positively impacted the 60% of Black undergraduates who depend on Pell Grants.
Further, Trump’s perplexing and disastrous approach to COVID-19 reverberated in Black communities, where the death toll proved tremendous.
In addition, Trump sought to reinstate controversial stop-and-frisk laws, which disproportionately target Black Americans, and he has reiterated his desire for the execution of the Exonerated Five.
Trump also repealed an Obama-Biden rule that addressed housing bias, which he promises to do more of if he returns to the White House.
Biden-Harris campaign officials, who estimated their expenditures will exceed $1 billion this year, pointed out that Trump and MAGA Republicans have continued to seek cutbacks to Medicare and Social Security.
“Trump is promising to do even more damage to Black families every chance he gets if he regains power,” an official stated. “Take him at his racist word.”
Officials noted that Biden and Harris have done more in three years for Black Americans than “any administration combined” over at least the past 60 years. Biden also has appointed more Black women to the federal court of appeals than all other presidents combined, and he successfully nominated the first Black woman, Ketanji Brown Jackson, to the U.S. Supreme Court.
“This president has expanded the child tax credit which cut Black child poverty in half,” another lawmaker said. “He’s also strengthened the Affordable Care Act,” passed the first bipartisan gun safety legislation in almost 30 years, and Black small businesses are starting up at the fastest rate in more than three decades.”
This whole article is full of misinformation. Trump did far more for the black community. He provided far more jobs for the black communities also. The democrats have constantly lead on our black communities and have been nothing but broken promises. Trumps civil suits are nothing but a witch hunt. What he is being prosecuted for is such an overreach and an attack on democracy by the democrats for trying to remove someone that Americans want to vote for. Which civil suits against the former president do you mean, and why do you call them witch hunts? Actually this writer is correct on allt of things.
Sometimes you have to do your own research and stop and think for yourself.
I have read and even talked to people that knew of Trump and his father.
They were not happy.
So many things that support that Trump only cares about being richer and ways to benifit himself.
He could be great if he would try to do for all in this country as a whole and stop trying to divide.

I am not surprised that so many Blacks have been influenced by Trump’s misinformation and outright lies. Look at the number of other groups who support him. This country is in the grip of an ignorance and greed crisis, where too many people are no longer using their brains to think but only to ingest what is fed to them by people who wish to exploit them for political power and financial gain. I feel sorry for America and Americans. I never thought the country would come to this.
This article is a bias hit piece at people who think and make decisions for themselves. You can hate Trump, but hate him for policy or real reasons. Ben Carson stated he met hundreds of Trump employees of every race and not one said he had treated anyone diffent and doesn’t see color. He funded HBCUs for 10 years, created opportunity zones in cities allowing people to start businesses without all the regulatory fees and taxes, signed and enforced the first step act which, ask Alice Johson who wrote 100s of letters to Obama with no response, allowed first time drug offenders to get a second chance, he cracked down on crime which helps inner city law abiding citizens the most, he hires based on MERIT and still had people of every race in his cabinet, proving that the Lefts DEI, is bullshit. All DEI does is tell minorities that they can’t succeed without the governments help. Which is wrong and RACIST AS HELL.
