Whatโs a life lesson you would give to your younger self?
Valerie R., Shaw, D.C.
โDefinitely [in] undergrad, I shouldโve been in them books a little harder. Even though I finally got it together my second year, got on the presidentโs list, did the things I should do and thatโs how I landed that job at the FBI. I wound up going to grad school and doing all the things I needed to do.โย
Antonio P., Northwest D.C.
โGo to school, stay in school, go to college and stay off of drugs and alcohol.โ
Third Eye, Northwest D.C.
โI would say keep going forward and donโt look back. Like Sodom and Gomorrah โ you look back youโll turn to salt and salt makes the slugs melt. You cannot think about the past at all.โ
Jerome D., Northwest D.C.
โListen to your parents. Hopefully theyโll be a good model to follow. Mine were. My mother died when I was 13, but she instilled in me to be good to people and to do your best.โ
