NEW ORLEANS — The subject that always follows Michael Oher followed him to media day at the Super Bowl on Tuesday. Oher would prefer to concentrate on football, on his job as offensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens.
Instead, he answered another round of questions about “The Blind Side,” the book turned movie based in large part on his life. The first three questions lobbed his way dealt with the chapter of his life he would rather close.
Question No. 1: On the family that took him in when he was young, the main story line in the book.
“I’ve got them coming to the game,” Oher said. “They’re still my family.”
