What does peace look like in 2026?ย
Leonard McNab, Detroit
โIn 2026, everybody is coming to a mutual agreement. We donโt have to agree on everything, but we donโt have to fight and go to war or beef because we disagree. We can disagree, but it doesnโt have to turn into a battle.โ
Trae Stocks, Southeast D.C.
โEveryone to be happy, healthy, whole and have their needs met especially those within D.C.โ
Maude Hills, South Carolina
โMy concept of peace is that everyone is believing in the same thing at the same time; thereโs no fighting. In the context of living in D.C., because Iโve experienced homelessness off and on for 30 years, I would say services for the homeless, and those at risk of being homeless, be more supplied by D.C. There needs to be attention on what people will lose as a result of not having income.โย
Robert Abney, Southwest D.C.
โ[With President Donald Trump] I think that peace will not come anytime soon. He started a war that was not sanctioned by Congress, and heโs violating the Constitution in many ways, endangering our democracy.โ
