Prince George’s County’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s raised more than $120,000 as of Monday, two days after the Sept. 20 fundraising event.
ABC7 News Health and Wellness reporter Victoria Sanchez served as emcee for the walk. The top five fundraising teams were Power of Love, Nana’s Legacy, Sunshine Rays, TEAMMC58 and Team Mt. Ennon We’re In this Together.
U.S. Rep. Glenn Ivey, D-Md., and Maryland Del. Ashanti Martinez, D-District 22, attended the event.
