The Summer Spirit Festival, a summer must for music lovers of all stripes, is returning to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, on Aug. 10.
Presented by C D Enterprises Inc., a promotion film with a 50-year legacy of presenting the very best of attractions, the Summer Spirit Festival is celebrating its “sweet” 16th year. This year’s event is spotlighting local talent and flavor, including a go-go tribute and trail-blazing, nationally recognized, home-grown talents.
The exciting lineup features a blend of Summer Spirit Festival favorites and debut appearances, including Erykah Badu, Method Man & Redman, Junkyard Band, Chuck Brown Band, Mumu Fresh, Noochie, and emcee Jas Funk.
Tickets go on sale on Friday through Ticketmaster.com and MerriweatherMusic.com. Starting Saturday, tickets will be available at the Merriweather Post Box Office as well as the 9:30 Club Affiliate Box Office Outlets (The Anthem/930/Lincoln Theater).
