Evangeline Moore, daughter of slain civil rights activist, died at her home in New Carrolton, Maryland, at 85. Moore’s family came to fame in the most tragic of ways when in 1951 a bomb detonated underneath her parents’ house on Christmas Day in Mims, Florida. It was their 25th wedding anniversary.
