The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has pledged to address its diversity and inclusion issues, with five African Americans nominated for Oscars this year, including Danielle Brooks, Sterling K. Brown, Colman Domingo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Jeffrey Wright.
