Council unanimously approved Pamela Smith as chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, Sam Abed as director of the Department of Youth and Rehabilitative Services, Delano Hunter as director of the Department of General Services, Brian J. Hanlon as director of the Department of Buildings, and Tiffany Crowe as director of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection.
