Two African American developers are building “The Hazel,” a 18,000-square-foot redevelopment at The Parks at Walter Reed in Northwest D.C., named in honor of the first Black female general in the U.S. Army and featuring a minority-owned hardware store, with the help of TD Bank’s unique finance structure.
