The Department of Aging and Community Living in Washington D.C. is celebrating 50 years of serving seniors, with Mayor Muriel Bowser’s commitment to the District’s seniors resulting in programs such as Safe at Home, Connector Card Program, Senior MedExpress, Senior Food Programs, and Adult-Related Dementia Disorders, as well as a 26th Annual Senior Holiday Celebration, and a Volunteer Snow Program to assist homeowners aged 60 or older with snow removal.
