County Executive Aisha Braveboy appointed Thelmetria “Meme” Michaelides as the new fire chief of Prince George’s County, while Gov. Wes Moore announced nearly 7,000 additional pardons for misdemeanor cannabis possession and pledged to continue addressing racial disparities and the racial wealth gap.
