The “One Big, Beautiful Bill” proposed by Senate Republicans and championed by President Trump includes $793 billion in Medicaid cuts, SNAP cuts, and student loan forgiveness repeal, all of which would disproportionately affect Black Americans, and would also remove the Child Tax Credit for immigrant parents and threaten resources for HBCUs.
