The Bowser administration has proposed a Fiscal Year 2025 supplemental budget that would cut over $400 million, while also releasing a Fiscal Year 2026 budget proposal that includes funding for early child care subsidies, school modernizations, and recreation center upgrades, but also includes cuts to programs such as paid family leave and child tax credits.
