Erica Jones, a senior at McKinley Technology High School in Northeast, has been on the varsity volleyball team all four years of high school, an accomplishment she attributes to the “very rare” overhead serve she displayed in middle school. Erica, who also plays basketball, hopes to continue playing sports in college, but only if it “doesn’t get in the way of academics.”
