Acia Williams, a master educator preparing future cosmetologists and barber stylists, celebrated a ribbon cutting on Monday, Feb. 10 for her new salon, "A New Image by Acia," located at 705 Florida Avenue NW. Chet Bennett, founder/CEO of the Bennett Career Institute, the largest beauty and barber school in the District, C. Alan Salons and Spas and the creator of the Celebrity Makeup Symposium, previously owned the salon.
