D.C. Workers Lend Support to $15 Minimum Wage, Raise the Wage Act

As part of weekly Moral Mondays initiated by the Poor Peopleโ€™s Campaign, on Monday, Feb. 8, essential workers across the country held socially distanced rallies in celebration of the Raise the Wage Act โ€“ legislation that would end the subminimum wage for tipped workers and raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour thatโ€™s included in President Bidenโ€™s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 package.
