The RFK redevelopment plan provides generous subsidies and development rights to the Commanders, but does not provide direct investment in the needs of surrounding communities and residents living in Ward 7, and the D.C. Council must amend their legislation to include a Greater Ward 7 Revitalization Fund and a Community Land Trust to ensure the benefits of the development are shared with the community.
