AmeriStarRail has proposed a plan to team with Amtrak to operate the incoming fleet of 28 Alstom Avelia Liberty trainsets as the Libertyliner 250, which would provide triple-class service and open high-speed travel to all passengers, while also improving safety and reducing congestion.
