Council member Ed Burroughs III has been elevated to lead the County Council, becoming the youngest chair in council history, while Council member Krystal Oriadha has been elected vice chair, and former Prince George’s County Board of Education member Shayla Adams-Stafford is likely to be in coalition with both Burroughs and Oriadha after the special general election in June.
