Nicole Wandera, a Kenyan-born artist and mother, has found art to be a form of therapy for her and is one of nine artists whose work will be featured in the world premiere of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington’s “Portraits: An Exploration of Sexual, Gender, Racial, and Cultural Identity” at the Kennedy Center.
