Mary’s Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center, has provided school-based mental health services to 662 students in the D.C. area, and is urging the D.C. Department of Behavioral Health to reconsider their plan to phase out contracts with community-based organizations, as it would reduce their capacity to serve students and disrupt the continuity of care.
