The Prince Georgeโ€™s County Affordable Housing Roadshow will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Highland Park, located at 6801 Sheriff Road in Landover, Maryland. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., with programming beginning at 11:00 a.m. The free community event will conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be served.

The event is hosted by PNC Bank, TransUnion, and First Baptist Church of Highland Park, in collaboration with the Prince Georgeโ€™s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

โ€œAt PNC, we believe financial education and access to resources are critical to helping individuals and families achieve long term stability and homeownership,โ€ said Will Hendrix Griffin, SVP Affordable Lending, PNC Bank. โ€œThe Affordable Housing Roadshow allows us to meet people where they are and connect them with trusted information, partners, and opportunities that can help move them forward.โ€

The Affordable Housing Roadshow is designed to promote generational wealth, financial empowerment, housing stability, and community engagement by connecting residents with trusted organizations, educational resources, and housing related support services.

The event is expected to bring together residents and organizations from throughout Prince Georgeโ€™s County and the greater DMV region.

In addition to supporting prospective homebuyers, the event will provide resources for existing homeowners, seniors, veterans, and residents impacted by federal workforce changes. Attendees will have access to expert speakers, panel discussions, community resources, and opportunities to connect directly with financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, housing professionals, and government agencies.

The event will also feature resource tables, mortgage pre-approval opportunities, credit review resources, and private consultations available throughout the day.

โ€œAs housing challenges continue to impact families throughout the region, it is important that we create opportunities for residents to access information, resources, and trusted organizations that can help them navigate both homeownership and housing stability,โ€ said Monique Winston, President of MWINS Consulting and Event Coordinator and Moderator.

The Affordable Housing Roadshow has hosted successful events in cities across the country, including Houston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, bringing together community leaders, financial institutions, housing professionals, and government agencies focused on expanding pathways to sustainable homeownership and economic stability.

Community organizations, nonprofit agencies, and resource partners interested in participating may contact Monique Winston at Monique@MWINSconsulting.com for additional information regarding resource table opportunities.
