Several D.C. museums shuttered last fall due to the coronavirus pandemic reopened Friday, including the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

The opening museums are:
National Museum of African American History and Culture – Will be open from 11.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. Timed entry passes required. Face masks required.
National Portrait Gallery – Will be open 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. Timed entry passes required. Visitors will use the G Street entrance. Face masks required.
Smithsonian American Art Museum and Renwick Gallery – The museum’s hours are 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. The gallery’s hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. Separate timed entry passes are required for each. Face masks required.
National Gallery of Art – The sculpture garden will open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, no timed passes required. The West Building will open daily from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, free timed-entry passes required. Face masks required.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will reopen to the public on May 17 every day except Wednesdays, WTOP reported. Timed-entry tickets are required. The National Museum of American History and the National Museum of the American Indian will reopen on May 21.

Timed passes will be available for Friday for the Smithsonian’s National Zoo, which reopens May 21. The Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Va., opened earlier this month, WTOP reported.

I HAVE A TRIP PLAN ON MAY 29TH 2022 AND HAS BEEN CALLING AND EMAILING TO GET TICKETS SINCE THE REOPENING AND HAVEN’T BE ABLE TO ON LINE NOR BY PHONE, PLEASE HELP ME WITH GETTING TICKETS FOR 3 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN FOR THIS FAMILY EVENTS.
