Visitors to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in D.C. will not be required to have passes to enter on weekdays in September.
The museum will be open to all on a first-come, first-served basis on weekdays in September, though passes will be required for the weekends of Sept. 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23 and 29-30.
Museum officials initially tested a no-pass entry on Wednesdays in April and May, and were pleased with the results.
