While the judges’ decisions remain uncertain, as it has yet to be determined if Katy Perry, Luke Bryan or Lionel Ritchie will return as judges, the popular “American Idol “show continues to move around the nation with several cities serving as audition venues.

District hopefuls will welcome the bus on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and can anticipate long lines awaiting them. You must be a legal resident of the U.S., between 15 and 28 and must sign up before you can audition.

Auditions take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center Atrium, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW. A long list of rules applies, so visit “Idol’s” website if you’re really interested in strutting your stuff and grabbing your ticket to stardom.

Previous winners from previous seasons include: Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks and it’s served as a springboard for launching the careers of many artists as bona fide stars from Jennifer Hudson to Adam Lambert.
