Tricia Hersey, founder of the Nap Ministry, hosted a “Napping as Resistance” program at the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church to promote rest as a spiritual and practical necessity for Black communities to reclaim dignity and healing in the face of generations of overwork.
