The Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee, known as the Baltimore County Democratic Party, was elected in June 2018 during the Democratic primary election and members whose terms expire in 2022 were sworn in the following August.

Democratic National Committee bylaws require that every jurisdiction in the United States attempt to have gender balance among those individuals serving as Democratic Party officials, and while one male at-large position to obtain gender balance was added after the primary election, recent changes to the committee’s composition have created two female at-large members.

BCDSCC is now attempting to fill the two vacancies with two qualified female residents of Baltimore County who registered as Democrats during the most recent primary election.

BCDSCC nomination committee members will also make recommendations to the full committee.

Interested individuals must submit 1) a fully completed BCDSCC application, 2) a resume, and 3) a letter of interest indicating their professional, civic and political experience and why they are interested in serving on the BCDSCC.
