Baltimore Initiative Develops Strategies for Engaging Black Men, Boys

Effective Sept. 10, every second Tuesday and every third Saturday of the month, African American Male Engagement – Baltimore, along with various partners, will bring together Black men to train and discuss strategies for engaging Black men and boys living in Baltimore City.

With partners such as Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, Kingdom Life Church, Muhammad Mosque Number 6 (F.O.I), St. Martins Church of Christ, Seeds of Promise, Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and a host of others, efforts are unifying to directly identify and serve the needs of Black males in Baltimore with immediate action.

Resources include jobs and skills training, emotional wellness and substance abuse treatment, GED preparation as well as food, clothing, shelter and family support.

All participants must attend the AAME Fisherman/Appropriate Leaders Unity Engagement.
