Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott has isolated himself at his home in the Northeast section of the city after testing positive for the coronavirus Monday, according to spokesperson Cal Harris.
Harris said the first-term Democrat is asymptomatic and feels fine, The Associated Press reported. Scott is tested three times a week for the coronavirus and was negative as recently as Friday.
Scott, who received the Johnson & Johnson single-dose coronavirus vaccine in March, is following health protocols, Harris said.
The mayor is working with the city’s department of health contact tracing units to notify people he interacted with over the weekend, Harris said, AP reported.
