When I get angry, you KNEEL on my Neck

When I ask why, you respond, “you look like someone BLACK”
You stop me while driving because I am BLACK
When I ask why, you respond with a drawn gun
When I raise my hand you respond again, “this can’t be your car, you must have stolen it!
You can’t afford it because you are BLACK”
You come into my flat and take me out, SHOT
You respond with, “You are a burglar in your own flat that I though was mine.”
You come into my house like the Gestapo did
Guns blazing, firing 20 shots, 8 into my body

When I retaliate, you threaten to SHOOT and unleash the DOGS
You still call me “my boy, my girl”
You Refuse to acknowledge that I am a Man or Woman
You see me as inferior or more as non-existent
A figment of your consciousness
So, one more of Me DEAD makes you feel superior

You THREATEN, you DEGRADE, albeit Suttle, but you do
You smile in my face but it’s all Fake

The shape of me, the colour of my skin
