Ben & Jerry’s in Southeast Hosts Ice Cream Social for Justice
New Flavor 'Justice Remix'd' Highlights Need to Reform Criminal Justice System

As kids head back to school, the Advancement Project and Ben & Jerry’s has initiated efforts to tackle the social injustices children of color face every day.

Ben & Jerry’s unveiled its newest flavor Tuesday in southeast D.C. near the Big Chair. The flavor, Justice ReMix’d, was created in partnership with the Advancement Project National Office to highlight racism and criminal justice reform.
Ben & Jerry’s hope is to bring an end to structural racism.
The new flavor features cinnamon and chocolate ice creams, gobs of cinnamon bun dough, and spice fudge brownies.
