Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will not go to Milwaukee for the Democratic National Convention, choosing instead to accept the partyโ€™s nomination virtually from his home state of Delaware.

The Democratic National Committee announced the decision Wednesday, adding that the other scheduled speakers โ€” including Bidenโ€™s eventual running mate โ€” will also address the convention virtually out of concern for the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The convention will run from Aug. 17-20.
President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he would likely accept the Republican nomination from the White House instead of at the GOP convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
