Bill Cosby in Court for Pretrial Hearing in Sex-Assault Case

Beleaguered entertainer Bill Cosby was back in a Pennsylvania state court Tuesday after a judge rejected his bid earlier this summer to have his criminal sexual assault case thrown out.

Cosby, 79, is charged with of drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand, a former basketball coach at his alma mater Temple University, at his home in 2004.

Cosby, creator of the hit 1980s TV series “The Cosby Show,” is facing similar charges leveled by about 60 women stretching back decades. However, the Constand case is the only one to result in criminal charges, largely because of statutes of limitation.

Cosby, who denies any wrongdoing, maintains his sexual relationships with the women, including Constand, were all consensual.
